We appreciate every donation we get from individuals and families around the country, however we would like to offer our special thanks to the following people:
Our pediatrician, Dr. J.J. Levenstein, has supported Kid Flicks from the start by featuring information about our organization in the weekly on-line newsletter that goes out to the 2,000 families in her practice and allowing her office in the San Fernando Valley serve as a Kid Flicks movie drop-off site.
Micah Schachet-Brisket has asked guests to his 4th and 5th birthday parties to donate movies to Kid Flicks. Ruth Rosenberg in Woodstock, Georgia also collected DVDs in honor of her 4th and 5th birthdays , Nicholas Von Schlegell collected DVDs in honor of his 9th birthday, and 7-year-old Alexandra Cernelich of Kirtland Hills Ohio collected DVDs as part of her service project for her upcoming Communion and Confirmation. Eight-year-old twins Kate and Troy Outwater asked guests to bring DVDs to donate instead of gifts to their birthday party and ended up collecting 171!
Michael Ebersold, Tamar Remer, Matthew Simmons, Jack Usher, Landon Knox, David Rudolph, Joe Sigal , David Budnick, Miles Richman, Hannah and Jacob Byek, Josh Sones, and Jaclyn Hammer chose Kid Flicks collection drives as “mitzvah projects” in conjunction with their Bar or Bat Mitzvahs.
